When we talk of Investment first thing that we should look at is risk. The biggest risk is not taking any risk. In a world that is changing quickly, the only strategy guaranteed to fail is not taking risk. - Mark Zuckerberg – Founder of Facebook I read this story somewhere on the Internet. There were two new seeds which were lying next to each other on the ground. One of them said to the other “I want to send my roots deeper into the soil beneath me and push my sprouts through the earth above me. I want to unfurl my buds like banners to announce the arrival of spring. I want to feel the warmth of the sun on my face and the bliss of the morning dew on my petals!”And the seed grew faster. The other one said. “I am afraid. If I send my roots below I am not sure what will I encounter in the dark. If I push up above the soil I may damage my delicate sprouts. What If I open my buds and a snail tries to eat them? And if I were to flower, a small child may pull me from the ground. I think it is better for me to wait until It is safe. And the seed waited. A hen scratching around in the early spring for food found the waiting seed and promptly ate it. Having said that, Risk is something that should not be taken blindly. What should we do with Risk?
